Gordon Ramsay Now Has a Seventh Fox Show, ‘Secret Service’

Fox and Gordon Ramsay are collaborating on another food-based unscripted series — the seventh one on the network’s roster, if you’re counting.

The new series, which premieres May 21, is called Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service. It’s a twist on the Kitchen Nightmares formula in which Ramsay comes to the aid of a struggling restaurant (while also pointing out all the wrong and gross things going on in the kitchen) — but instead of going through the front door, Ramsay will first go in covertly.

Here’s how Fox describes the show: “With the help of a secret source on the inside, he’ll gather raw, unfiltered evidence and get a 360-degree view of the major issues facing each restaurant. This insider will not only remain a secret to the staff, but will also help Ramsay infiltrate the restaurant after-hours for a dramatic nighttime black light kitchen investigation that reveals more filth and grossness than ever before. By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for staff to cover up their culinary crimes.”

“Over the years, I’ve embarked on many daring adventures alongside my partners at Fox,” Ramsay said in a statement. “Secret Service is the most intrepid of them all. With undercover help and cutting-edge technology, I get to go full on ‘MI6’ with these restaurants — and they’ll never see it coming.”

Secret Service is the latest addition to Fox’s Ramsay-verse, which counts six other current series: Food Stars, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Masterchef (which earlier this week was renewed for a 15th season, airing in the summer), Masterchef Junior and Next Level Chef. Fox had a Ramsay-led show on the air in 47 of 52 weeks in 2024 and has had one every week so far in 2025. The network and Ramsay’s Studio Ramsay Global are also teaming up to launch a digital culinary and entertainment brand called Bite.

“Gordon is among the most prolific creative forces in television history, and along the way, has amassed an unbelievable fanbase,” said Fox Television Network president Michael Thorn. “With limitless talent, Gordon infuses each of his series with its own remarkable, distinctive personality and unrivaled stakes, a reputation he certainly upholds with this terrific new concept that will once again keep his fans endlessly engaged.”

Studio Ramsay Global and Fox Alternative Entertainment produce Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service. Ramsay and showrunner Bill Langworthy are the executive producers.
