Hugh Jackman, Rachel Brosnahan and Liza Koshy are among the notable names set to join Global Citizen NOW, a one-day summit designed to drive action to help end extreme poverty.
Set to take place at New York’s Spring Studios on April 30, the program promises announcements on policy initiatives, intimate conversations, impact awards and other schedule highlights. The event is supported by major partners like Authentic Brands Group, Bridgewater Associates, Cisco, Delta Air Lines, PayPal, P&G and Verizon, and is expected to host leaders in government, policy, advocacy, the private sector, media, entertainment and philanthropy.
During Global Citizen NOW, the Global Citizen Prize and Cisco Youth Leadership Award will be presented to honor young leaders from around the world “making extraordinary efforts to impact their communities,” per the org. That portion of the program will be emceed by Koshy, with a line-up of high-profile presenters expected to participate.
Brosnahan called it an honor to participate. “This summit is all about transforming big ideas into real change by bringing together passionate, driven, and creative minds to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges,” said Brosnahan, who serves as a Global Citizen ambassador. “I’m thrilled to help spark conversations, celebrate the change makers, and most importantly, drive meaningful impact for communities worldwide.”

Global Citizen NOW co-chairs include Jackman; Brosnahan; Pedro Sánchez, president of the government of Spain; Hans Vestberg, chairman and CEO of Verizon; Wyclef Jean; André Corrêa do Lago, COP30 president designate; Nir Bar Dea, CEO of Bridgewater Associates; Amy Bonitatibus, chief corporate affairs officer at PayPal; Patrick Achi, former prime minister of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire; Alicia Tillman, chief marketing officer at Delta Air Lines; Volker Türk, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights; Ralph Gonsalves, prime minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; and David Moinina Sengeh, chief minister of Sierra Leone.
